Itching
Itching may occur due to allergies or illness. It also may occur due to skin disorders and seasonal skin changes. Acupressure helps regulate blood circulation and hence helps the skin to improve which may result in controlling the itching.
General weakness
In disease, imbalances develop in the energy flows, causing some of the transformer points to become congested. This results in weakness. Stimulating these points with pressure helps to normalize impaired conditions. Depending on the cause for the general weakness special acupoints are used to cure the problem.
Spermatorrhea, impotence, premature ejaculation
Premature ejaculation is one of the most common sexual problems. The condition is most often described as being an inability to delay ejaculation to a point when it is mutually desirable for both partners. By pressing an acupuncture point located halfway between the anus and scrotum, the ejaculation can be reversed into an improved orgasm and the semen is recycled from the full prostate and reabsorbed into the blood. This point is known as the jen-mo (conception meridian) acupuncture point. When pressed with a finger, this point feels as if there is a small indentation or hole in that location.
Hypochondriac pain
Hypochondriac pain is a disorder characterized by pain over the unilateral or bilateral sides of the hypochondriac region. A migratory and distending pain is attributed to the stagnation of qi, a localized stabbing pain due to blood stasis and a sustained dull pain to yin-blood deficiency. The therapies of regulating qi, clearing heat, eliminating blood stasis and discharging dampness should be employed for sthenia-syndrome, and the therapies of nourishing yin and softening the liver for asthenia-syndrome.
Salivation
Salivation too is not a disease in itself but rather a symptom for travel sickness, exhaustion or illness like rabies. Hence acupressure technique is not available to cure the salivation problem directly but rather finding the cause for salivation and treating the root cause would cure the problem.
Palpitation
Chinese medicine use palpitation taking as a diagnostic tool for diseases. Feeling with the hands for temperature, tenderness, rigidity or muscle spasm completes the examination.
Aches and pains
Pain warns you to take your hand off the stove burner, to take care of your back or to find out why your head aches. Often what makes you hurt also starts to cures you. Acupressure relies on stimulating any of the body acupoints, which lie along meridians. Researchers have found that many acupoints correspond to neuron motor points, where large nerves meet muscle or bone. And meridians may be what scientists now call nerve pathways.
