Juniper - Aromatheraphy Essentail Oil
(Junpiperus communis)

JUNIPERThis crisp essential oil is used in aromatherapy to help stimulate and strengthen the nerves and bolster the spirits in challenging situations, while helping to relieve urine retention. Juniper can be an aid in promoting menstruation and useful in bladder infections.

Origins of Juniper

Juniper is a small bush found in many parts of the world in many parts of world including central and southern Europe North America and Canada.

Properties of Juniper oil

It acts as diuretic, diaphoretic, carminative, analgesic, stimulant, disinfectant astringent, bactericidal astringent and bactericidal. It affects plasma, blood, muscle, fat, bone, marrow, nerves, lymph and uterus.

Most common uses

  • Good for digestive problem; stimulates appetite.

  • Strong antiseptic for the urinary tract with powerful diuretic properties and can help clear ystitis though it should never be used in cases of kidney inflammation.

  • Helpful in diabetes.

  • Good for painful menstruation.

  • Stimulating and uplifting -particularly helpful in cases of weakness.

  • Good for aching limbs and rheumatism.
  • Reinforce the immune system.

  • Excellent for massaging weak muscles.
  • Good for paralytic condition.
  • Good for several skin condition including eczema acne and psoriasis.
  • Good for healing suppurating wounds.

  • Mixes well with: all citrus, cypress, eucalyptus, cajuput and lavender.
