Most accidents as minor cuts and bruises in daily life do not require Reiki treatment of the first, second and third chakra. This treatment will only be necessary in case of major accidents of this type. In order to stop minor bleeding and prevent complications it will suffice to keep your hand at some distance above the wound to stop minor bleeding and prevent complications.
In case the problem penetrates deeper, affecting the nerves, immediate treatment has to be balanced with Reiki energy as well. For instance, suppose someone cuts a finger while nervous and unconcentrated. In this case, after treating the wound, it is advisable to balance the two halves of the brain and harmonize the solar plexus with Reiki. This will help eliminate the cause of the injury.
An area of the chakras is probably affected if someone constantly himself or herself suffers repeated injuries, without organic problems (such as bad sight). If someone is prone to accidents, a disorder in the First chakra might be the cause. This person unconsciously allows damage to be caused to his body. Be it lack of alertness or caution, in basic terms his "will to live" is not strong enough to prevent constant accidents. In this case the pelvic region should be treated with Reiki. The therapist should try to find the cause of this tendency together with the client so that it can be dissolved along with specific Reiki work.
Reiki with chakra works on a more root levels of causes than any superficial treatment:
For example, if a feeling of guilt is the cause of the tendency for self-injury, the karmic areas also have to be included in treatment. To this end one should apply whole body treatment and mental treatment of Second Degree Reiki.
Although effective Reiki treatment can be started without detailed previous analysis of the problem, the results might take much longer to succeed. Without a clear analysis the right starting-point could be missing, certain influences will be delayed which otherwise might make the subconscious of your client more receptive to Reiki.
Classical Hindu yoga defines six energy centers, Tibetan Buddhist yoga five or six, and Taoist yoga seven. To add more to the complexity to details, contemporary teachers often even speak of nine major energy centers, corresponding to the nine planets. The most advanced systems today describes up to twelve energy centers. Numbers is not the only point of disagreement, as some systems even differentiate between the root and sexual chakras, while others place these two chakras together.
The sexual chakra is often also called spleen chakra and is located in the region of the spleen. Some teachers say that the third chakra is below the navel, while others place it near the solar plexus. This list of inconsistencies could easily be continued. All the systems are correct. The hierarchy (levels) of the energy system extends from the material pole on one side to the ideal pole on the other side.
"Material" means: made of matter; tangible and definable; can be measured and weighed; inert; analytically comprehensible; objectively perceptible; it is the formed and shaped pole. In other words the energy is "Yin."
"Ideal" means: energetic; intangible; indefinable; fleeting, flowing and subtle; synergistically comprehensible; timeless; subjectively perceptible; without shape and form. The energy can be said to be that of "Yang".
Existence of chakras can be proved indirectly with the aid of high-tech electronics. Clairvoyants or sensitive perceptive people are also able to draw conclusions from their direct perception of the chakras that can be confirmed by other means. In reality, anyone can learn to work successfully with the chakras. Inevitably, different individuals will obtain different results, thereby defining diverging chakra locations and functions. This is all the more comprehensible if we consider that in qualitative terms chakras belong to the "ideal pole" of existence. Therefore, it can be said that the location and function of these important energy centers essentially depends on the subjective viewpoint of the observer. They cannot be fully defined by the "material" aspects of their condition.
Conditions and circumstances such as culture, generally accepted ideas, race, individual karma, priorities of development of the individual and his social group with all its traditions determine the perception of human being upon his mental and spiritual structure and its manifold functions. Therefore, it is inevitable that the chakra systems of the Eskimos, Jews, Chinese, Christians and Indians differ from each other on many points. This implies that if you are firmly convinced that you have nine (or three or even seven) chakras and that you find the means to work with these centers, you are all ready and able to perceive and find out the methods that your chakra work will indeed produce the desired success.
Although one cannot define chakras just based on self because they were pre-programmed and are part of life`s plan. So it is imperative to study and go through the already existing knowledge about chakra. One has to listen and feel inside oneself, and perceive which system suits best. Then the healer is ready to embark on your practical work. Consider the already researched system.
To begin with, a reiki initiator can contemplate inside to find out which chakra system is perceived within. Once it has been discovered in which framework one have to work, then the learner is able to start to practice and begin to fill the personal framework with knowledge and experiences. In any case, It is very useful for one`s own work to get to know a self-contained, complete system. This will save from the hassle of "reinventing the wheel." The learner will have an overview of the best possibilities and interconnections, which will help in the work with the system that`s best suitable. In addition, as many subtle realities are similar for most people with a common tradition. Understanding and growing perception on just one chakra system leads to an easy grasp on others as a whole.
