Diabetes: Reiki work for special region of diabetes, i.e. elbows, should be conducted regularly. Along with that following positions should be applied.
Position 1: From the forehead to the region of the top teeth, the healer should place the hands in a parallel position to the right and left of the nose.
Position 2: Place the hands on the left lower ribs and directly below it.
Position 3: One hand is placed across the thymus, the other hand at a right angle below and between the breasts (with both hands together forming a "T").
Position 4: The hands are placed on the soles of the feet. In addition, the big toes must be covered from the tips.
Asthma: Following positions should be used.
Position 1: The hands cup the back of the head. The fingertips are placed on the medulla oblongata (the soft spot one can feel if the fingers are passed along the mid-line of the head to the neck; about halfway the hard bone ends and changes into a soft depression. This is the location of the medulla).
Position 2: The healer should place the hands in a parallel position to the right and left of the nose, from the forehead to the region of the top teeth.
Position 3: One hand is placed across the thymus, the other hand at a right angle below and between the breasts (with both hands together forming a "T").
Position 4: The balls of the thumb should be each placed on the ridges of the pelvic bones, the tips of the hands close to each other at the pubic bone, forming a "V".
Heart Attack: Call the physician immediately. Till then, as an emergency measure give the reiki to upper and lower abdomen. Under no circumstances give it directly to heart. Also apply the following positions:
Position 1: One hand is placed on the lowest ribs on the right side, the other hand directly below.
Position 2: One hand is placed above the navel, the other below it.
Position 3: The hands are placed between the shoulders and the shoulder blades.
Position 4: The hands are placed on the lower ribs above the kidney.
General Heart Trouble: The healer must take into account the consultation of practitioner or naturotherapists before embarking on any healing. Giving Reiki to second and fourth chakra is especially beneficial.
