Positions on the Head
All the important organs are reflected on the face, hence the entire body is subjected to treatment by reiki positions on head.


Position 1 applies for the eyes, frontal and nasal sinuses, teeth and pituitary gland. Control of the inner secretory glands should always be included in treatment for all glandular disorders. The best practice is to exercise it before Reiki work on the respective gland; pineal gland, sixth chakra (Third Eye) and reflex zones.Positions on the Head
Technique: From the forehead to the region of the top teeth, the healer should place the hands in a parallel position to the right and left of the nose. The position is specially preferred in case of:
  • Fatigue/stress

  • Cold complaints of the nasal and frontal sinuses.

  • Eye diseases

  • Weakness/addiction problems

  • Allergies

  • Discontent.


  • Position one is Basic position for chronic diseases of every type.

    Position 2:Positions on the Head
    This position is utilized for Balancing the two halves of the brain namely emotion and reason. It gives thorough treatment to Eye muscles and eye nerves and the two halves of the brain.
    Technique: The hands are placed on the temples with the fingertips reaching to the cheekbones. This position is specially useful in case of:
  • Stress/difficulty in learning/lack of concentration.

  • Colds.

  • Headache

  • It is effective when a person is too strongly governed by his emotions or by reason.


  • Position 3:Positions on the Head
    This position involves ear and hence the dozens of acupuncture points on the outer and inner ear. This is a basic position for diseases of every type. It influence ears as the organs for equilibrium.
    Technique: The hands are placed on the ears. It is especially useful in case of:
  • Problems of pharyngeal region.

  • Disorders of the sense of balance.

  • Diseases of the nasal and pharyngeal region

  • Acute loss of hearing

  • States of confusion.


  • Position 4:Positions on the Head

    This position is influential for Reflex zones for the main chakras one to four, brain, medulla oblongata (extended spinal cord), large intestine, triple heater, gall bladder, and control meridian (governor vessel).
    Technique: The hands cup the back of the head. The fingertips are placed on the medulla oblongata (the soft spot one can feel if the fingers are passed along the mid-line of the head to the neck; about halfway the hard bone ends and changes into a soft depression. This is the location of the medulla). The position especially helps in:
  • Relaxation.

  • Headache.

  • Eye diseases

  • Colds.

  • Abdominal complaints.

  • Anxiety

  • Blockages in the sixth chakra.

  • Asthma.

  • Hyperventilation

  • Circulatory complaints.

  • Sneezing

  • Nausea

  • Chronic "swallowing the wrong way".


  • Position 5:Positions on the Head
    This position on neck directly works on Thyroid and parathyroid gland, larynx, vocal cords, lymph nodes and Fifth chakra.
    Technique: The hands should be placed covering the front section of the neck. Do not touch the neck as this could cause discomfort and even fear in some people. The position is especially useful in case of:
  • Metabolic diseases.

  • Weight problems

  • Anorexia

  • Stuttering

  • Anxiety.

  • Palpitation

  • Poor posture

  • Chronic tension of the legs, pelvic area, and shoulder muscles.

  • Blood pressure

  • Repressed aggression or aggressions that have been too intensely acted out.

  • Behavioral and communicative disorders.

  • Sore throat.

  • Tonsillitis

  • Hoarseness

  • Insecurity.
