First Exercise on Reiki .. Second Exercise for Reik.. Third Exercise for Reiki..
Fourth Exercise for Reik..
Meditation in all its forms has the common goal to realize the self, to uncover one`s true identity and potential. It has been a popular means of self-discovery ever since ancient times. Success in meditation practice follows the two essentially linked principles. That of "letting go" and "non-doing." Non-doing or passive state in life leads to possibility of letting go (not reacting). Only when the person is not continuously active in some form, he / she can free the consciousness of its contents and thus let go of the hold or false perception on reality. At the same time letting go is an indispensable condition for non-doing.

Letting go of compulsive action is based on fear for non-action to develop in free space. Even though the correlation sounds complicated, the success in meditation can be achieved quite simply, with joyful, loving acceptance. For example, if a person observes during meditation that his / her mind is already busy tidying up the apartment, or doing any other chores, he shouldn`t consider these thoughts to be out of place and disturbing. The person should realize that all he is doing is sitting or lying down and everything in present is OK. Realization of involvement in the necessities of day-to-day life and that one cannot suddenly shake off whatever it is that is otherwise important to oneself.

The crux being that the meditator shouldn`t punish himself if his attention wavers. He should drop the claims to power and accept the human nature. Even though the person wants to remain in control of his / her life, especially thoughts as the final goal of meditation, try to understand the wish for power by becoming aware of the fears that cause these claims. These fears can be:
  • It is the fear of life turning into a catastrophe if the person doesn`t keep everything under control.

  • The fear of one`s husband or wife not loving any more or even leaving, if he/ she doesn`t measure up to their standards.

  • And the most horrid ideas resulting from the delusion of "being separate" from the world that each of us has.

  • Apart from the mental self, our body also calls off for attention. For example:
  • In case of a back pain from constant sitting, perceive the pain, which shows that the muscles are holding back the energy to their absolute limits.

  • Look at the inner restlessness and follow it to its physical or inner roots.

  • The person shouldn`t suppress these compulsions. Rather he should give it the attention it deserves.

  • After all they are also part of "self". One should choose to give some part of the daily life to self. Keep discovering the true self, more important than looking after cats, entertaining spouse or postponing washing up of utensils for a while. Follow the motives to the fears that are their root. If a person accomplishes just this much, he / she has already meditated seriously for quite some time. Reiki delivers the job of assisting in this process of self-discovery and progress with meditation. It can effectively support the process of concentration on the self and subsequent letting go with the deep relaxation. Perception of the flow of energy and establishment of calm contact with the body with Reiki is a natural and huge gateway to meditation in itself.

Some time spent with Reiki is all one has to do to initiate meditation. If there are subconscious hurdles that frighten to enter the field of consciousness, Reiki energy will help to gradually and lovingly accept them and to integrate their precious energy into the whole being. Once this step has been successfully taken, the process that leads from analysis (observer object of observation) to synthesis (integration through conscious, loving acceptance without logical reasoning) can be said to be complete. There are various exercises that combine Meditation with Reiki to yield concise and enhanced effect. The exercises can be done alone, as a couple or as a group.
