The chakras can suffer from three possible disorders or "injuries":
Obvious defects such as fissures or malformations.
Lacking connection with the inner energy system at the source point i.e. at the spine.
Lacking alignment such as in inclined position.
Balancing these disorders is easy with Reiki. However, it may take a long time for a disordered chakra to function fully again. That is because a brief laying
on of hands at irregular intervals is of little help.
Best treatment for obvious defects and incorrect alignments:
Place one hand on the level of the chakras on the front of the body (outlet point) and the other at the back (source point). In the case of the root chakra, place one hand on the pubic bone and the other on the coccyx. The healer should place the hands on the spine.
(This is not advisable with other Reiki techniques, as the Kundalini energy could be prematurely awakened this way.)
The outlet point of each chakra is the contact point with the outside world (aura). The source point is the contact point with the internal world i.e. to the main energy channels lateral to the spine. It is the direct connection between the Kundalini and the sixth chakra and the third Eye. When Reiki energy is sent through an injured chakra, it will change back to a correct alignment and fissures and dents will be healed. The flow of Life Energy through a subtle organ revitalizes it and enables it to resume its natural function. As the defect in the chakra will impair the flow of energy, Partial Reiki treatment is rarely sufficient. The injury prevents simultaneous harmonization of all of the parts of the energy center. This is an important block because every part of the chakra is linked to all the others. Therefore, Partial healing is ineffective, as it will be quickly cancelled by disorders in other parts of the energy center.
The application of Second Degree Reiki mental healing in connection with specific chakra work can greatly speed up and deepen the healing process. The chakras should necessarily be balanced out after doing specific Reiki work on chakras. This is because the treated chakra now has a new energetic charge and no longer corresponds to the charges of the other chakras, which can rapidly lead to a new imbalance in the energy center just treated. The problem is avoided if all the chakras are balanced by means of Reiki energy. Afterwards smoothing out of the aura should be done in order to resume the flow of released energy. Then the aura can be detoxified more easily.
Missing connection between a chakra and the inner energy system can be restored by channeling Reiki into the affected chakra on the back of the body. Give the client two to three minutes to absorb the energy at this place and then proceed with the technique as described above. The procedure can be repeated a few times.
Likewise the treatment is completed by chakra balancing and smoothing out the aura.
As there is no change in the position, due to the restfulness of this method deep relaxation is easy. On the other hand, organs for the main part are only acted on indirectly. For this reason this kind of chakra balancing is more appropriate for relaxation, working on chronic blockades, general strengthening and calming. It is helpful to smooth the aura before and after the session. Finally, energy stroking should be performed to connect the harmonized chakras with the earth energy. The point to be noted is that after any deep state of relaxation the client should sit up slowly and take time finding the way back to normal reality.
Specific Reiki Work on Minor Chakras
General balancing of Minor chakras with the major chakras connected with them creates favorable overall result. At least ten sessions should be applied after two-day interval. If no improvement is noticeable after several sessions, the same methods can be applied as above for healing the major chakras. Afterwards the minor chakras have to be harmonized with the respective major chakras. At the end, balancing of the major chakras will be useful.
(Pendulum Dowsing can be useful for detecting the faulty functioning of chakra.)
The healing and growth processes activated in regular and frequent sessions are of a very deep in nature, which is why the client should live a calm and harmonious life during the whole period of treatment. It is not possible to "fix" disordered chakras just casually even with Reiki. Often the treatment has to be supplemented by homeopathic or psychotherapeutic techniques.
Chakras heal most rapidly if Reiki treatment also integrates naturopathic remedies and psychotherapeutic techniques into one holistic effort. Laymen should neither prescribe medication nor tinker around psychologically in this respect. There are enough specialists for this purpose.
