Third Degree Reiki
During the third phase the reiki initiator becomes one with everything. At the same time, as a person of enhanced awareness, one also fine-tunes his individuality. The people have got immense healing power and at the same time the humility and awareness to be spiritually connected with "oneness". Reiki techniques or tools are mere means to achieve that grandness. Amongst the most common practiced and powerful techniques, few of them have been described over here with simplistic explanations. They are categorized according to the prerequisite condition of being initiated in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree.

Meditation with the Master Reiki Symbol
By using this method for just a few minutes, you can again feel con-nected with the cosmic energy source. This creates more "connectedness", calmness, focus and confidence in the real self.

Technique
  • Sit down undisturbed in a comfortable position for as long as suits you. Full or half-lotus position is preferable, but not abso-lutely necessary.

  • Take a few deep breaths and with your dominant hand draw the Reiki Master symbol as large as possible in the air above your crown chakra.

  • Mentally say the corresponding Mantra three times.

  • Stretch your arms above your head as straight as possible to the heavens and fold your hands, palms together, above your crown chakra.

  • Stay in this position for a moment and then let both arms glide down at the same time in slow motion about 8 inches to the left and right of your head.

  • As you do this imagine that you are putting the Master symbol into your aura Continue with this until your arms are all the way down with the fingertips outstretched and pointing toward the earth.


  • Imagine that you are absorbing the Master symbol into your aura. The meditation can range from 5 to 60 minutes and even longer if wanted. This technique brings a whole new quality in the daily life. In the begin-ning it may be difficult for you to sit patiently. Just let your body determine how long you dedicate to the meditation. After a few months regular and joyful exercise, it will be prob-ably be easy to sit for 30 or even 60 min-utes without becoming bored or restless.

    It is good to rest right after the meditation. You should not drive or do any risky work that calls for concentration and alertness. Take at least 15 min-utes before immersing yourself again in the hustle of external world. However, This technique is not limited to silent meditation. You can apply it as often as you like and in every life situation. It`s not even necessary to sit down to do this. This can be combined with Meditation techniques of the 2nd Reiki Degree and distant healing treatment as you send the Master symbol to a client or to yourself. The ego is a shadow entity, a dream. The mo-ment we shine the light of the Master symbol on it we can, we transcend this ego to touch our real self. The divine light is brought in consciousness by the power of this meditation.

    However, We cannot turn off the inner dialog with the help of a meditation technique. What we can however do with the help of a technique is create distance between ourselves and the constant chatter in our minds. As soon as we become aware of this we see that our inner dialog and we are two different things.
