Third Exercise for Reiki Meditation
This is a joint exercise for two people already initiated in Reiki. This Reiki meditation will help the person experience his / her exercise partner on a level of reality that is beyond imagination. Both the partners learn to accept one another in a deep and loving manner. Not to mention the development of a greater understanding for each other stemming from this acceptance. This is an ideal exercise for a loving couple, as it will open new dimensions in the relationship.

It is best to practice it before sleeping with each other. A desire to lie together affectionately is enough a reason to initiate this exercise. It will arouse that deep trust in each other forming a connection without which sex and sensuality cannot really be enjoyed. It brings about total togetherness along with supplying all the bodily regions with Reiki via the reflex zones. The procedure of the exercise is as follows:
  • Sit facing each other on an even, not too pliable surface.

  • Spread your legs a little wider apart than the width of your shoulders and draw up your knees.

  • Now move close together so that one of you is able to put his or her legs over those of the other.

  • Now join each other`s palms. Your right palm joining partner`s left and vice a versa.


  • The Reiki energy of both now circulates between both of them. This in a progression becomes enhanced to an extent that amounts to more than just an addition of life forces. Feel of partner`s energy flowing within adds to the experience. The resonance of the vibration in terms of the warmth and presence of the loved one can be felt by both as a combined energy. Longer is the time spent in this meditation, more wonderful this experience will become. It will be a progression of emotional attachment beyond anything that can be experienced in day-to-day reality.

    However, five minutes are the absolute minimum for this exercise. Letting in, letting go, merging and finding your way back to yourself with infinite enrichment takes some time. This effect cannot be accomplished in a hurry, so 15 to 30 minutes are optimal a better choice. Reserve this time once or twice a week, just for yourselves. It will be worth it for both of you. Further extension of the limits can be achieved by intoning the mantra "OM". Even with the separate chanting of the mantra, both will gradually come together through the rhythm of breathing, reflecting the merging of the two vibrations into a wonderful combination of higher frequency. The advantages accomplished by this particular exercise are as follows:
  • Enhancement of a relationship on the emotional level.

  • Release of blockages in the region of the Third Eye and in the pelvic Region.

  • Experience of oneness with a partner along with a simultaneous increase in vibrational frequency.

  • Strengthens the throat chakra.


  • Pay attention to fears of physical closeness. Help should be sought from a qualified therapist in case of persisting fears. Things should not be forced. Minimum duration should be kept five minutes, or better fifteen minutes. In the cosmic sense, this process is the function of steady partnerships here on earth. By means of this simple exercise one can consciously experience love and attachment. It also deepens the feeling of the support that the presence of the other gives on this joint path to becoming One.
