Shodhana Therapy in Ayurveda is a popular way of treating various types of diseases. It is used to eliminate the root cause of any disease. Diet for Kapha dosha includes all those foods that pacify the Kapha dosha. It says a person in whom the Kapha dosha is dominant should eat foods like puffed cereals, green vegetables and chapattis to name a few.
Diet for pitta dosha should include those foods, which aggravates pitta. Such a person should take cool, dry, heavy, bitter or astringent food and also mildly natural sweet food is known to pacify pitta.
